We had our whole family, new daughter in law, girlfriend and first grandson for the weekend. This was our 28th year going to the Ellensburg Rodeo for a family tradition and this plade topped it all off. Thanks again for opening your home to others. August 17, 2008: What a fantastic place. Great horseshoe duels! We must return soon. August 14, 2008: We came for a family wedding and hope to continue the "get together" as the years go by. Lots of family and friends. February 24, 2008: We want to Thank You for loaning us your beautiful home. My husband and I are celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary and he arranged everything. It was a big surprise. February 18, 2008: Kym's 37th and 5th annual Birthday Bash! This is our 3rd year with All Seasons and 2nd year at Log Mountain Lodge. Love it!! We had 9 sleds one day and 7 or 8 the other days. Two broke down...bummer! You play hard and you pay. One seperated shoulder, broken windshield and one burn. Tons of snow! Woohoo! The most ever. Love coming here,a dn going to the bowl and hanging and drinking. Great sunny days this year! Thanks for all, we had a great 7 days in the snow. Great memories! Thanks Kevin and Wendie - You Rock!! February 10, 2008: We were told this place was a cabin. Some "cabin"!! What an amazing, well-appointed place! Most rentals leave many things to be desired, but Log Mountain Lodge feels as if everything has been thought of, and everything is in it's place. Thanks to you we got to spend all our time enjoying ourselves instead of chasing after details. In all I had a great 50th birthday celebration - great setting, super snowmobiling, the best friends, good food and drink. Thank You! January 26, 2008: We had a great time and don't want to leave. I think everyone wiped out atleast once on the sleds. The Vegas gang hasn't ever been sore like this. It was a relaxing and enjoyable weekend! January 14, 2008: My wife had the brilliant idea to celebrate our 25th Anniversary with our kids and grandkids. She truly is the brains of the family as we had a fabulous time. The cabin is wonderful. We had bonefires in the firepit. We hot tubbed in the snow. The youngsters loved sledding on the road. We spent the time watching DVDS, having great meals and sharing together as a family. I am sure we will be back many more times and god willing, maybe on our 50th Anniversary! Thank you for your hospitality. December 25, 2007: We so enjoyed our stay at your wonderful cabin! It was a perfect place for my brother and I to get our families together. Our children learned to ski, we learned to snowboard, and needless to say we used the Hot Tub at night! We're hoping to make an annual trek here - to provide great memories for our kids and ourselves. Thanks! P.S. A quick jaunt up the road was an ideal spot for sledding. The quad to drag our weary butts back up the road was an absolute must:) December 25, 2007: What a wonderful Christmas getaway! We skied, went snowmobiling, sledding and soaked our tired bodies in the Hot Tub. The decorations really put us in the Holiday spirit inside the log home. The snow was great! November 4, 2007: This place is just what the doctor ordered - restful, beautiful and stimulating! Saw several deer on the driveway at night and they seemed to welcome us. The beds upstairs were soft and luxurious. All the comforts of home without all the usual distractions. Thank you for your hospitality and we would love to come back and refer this place to friends! It is comfortable, roomy and well equipped. The weather was very nice. On morning we saw deer out back. On walks lots of deer were seen. It's our fourth annual and 2nd year renting through All Seasons - "You Guys Rock" You go above and beyond for us every year -Thanks- We loved taking the sleds up to the bowl with friends and family. This is a beautiful, spacious home and we are so grateful to you for renting it out and sharing. Thanks for sharing this home with us! #2 – River’s Edge Comments : September 28, 2008: Wendie & Kevin, What a wonderful cabin. We stayed here the whole time enjoying the river and quiet. We did have an incident crossing the river, so please anyone remember rivers rise and go faster at different times. What a bleased place to spend our 7 years of marriage. You think of everything for your guests. This is somewhere we will definitely bring our family. Thank you for allowing us to stay. Dean and I really needed our alone time and hte Hot Tub was great after a long day of fishing. God Bless! September 21, 2008: Wonderful river area out back. Had fun catching multiple species of trout drifting the Yakima and working the banks near here. No time to do everything we wanted. September 14, 2008: On vacation from Kodiak Alaska. Branson fell in the river 4 times and Madison almost fell in twice. We made some bridges to get across the river but took 1 of them down so people can have as much fun as we did building them. June 30, 2008: Hi, I'm back at the cabin again for the Horse Camp. The cabin is great as always. By day 3 the weather change for the better and the river was great to hang out at. April 26, 2008: Kyle and I had a wonderful dinner (we BBQ'd steaks and had baked potatoes), did a little fishing and used the Hot Tub! My back feels better already. This is a great cabin, very quiet. Thank you so much! April 20, 2008: What a great time relaxing in the Hot Tub watching the snow come down with the quiet of the river rolling. Just the 4 of us and Jack! April 13, 2008: 2nd time here and we love it. Fishing was off a bit, but great weather and relaxing weekend. April 8, 2008: Great stay at River's Edge. Still snowmobiling in April - can't complain! Our dogs also loved it, walking the river and laying by the fire. Take care! March 23, 2008: The gas stove was a god send, we were concerned how cold it was when we arrived but it heated right up. The Hot Tub by the moonlight was awesome, we used it several times. We cross country skiied about a mile away at Woods & Steele staging area up to about 3,440 ft. What a killer view of Mt. Stuart from up top. The snow was great and the temp about 46. What a wonderful trip. March 2008: Really enjoyed staying here with good friends. Without a living room TV we actually sat around and conversed over a game or two of clue. Funny at first, we were kind of lost without the old tube, but then we rediscovered the lost art of conversation. Anyway, we were ourselves out at Stampede Pass on snowmobiles and it was nice to get back here. February 2008: Had fun snowmobiling...feel sore today. Dog had a good time running through the snow and falling in it. Beautiful cabin. Fun sitting in the Hot Tub and listening to the River. Hope to come back. Thanks for accepting pets, really appreciate it. January 16, 2008: Thank you so much for the use of your cabin! We had so much fun! The cabin is charming and we had so much fun relaxing in the Hot Tub and playing in the snow. Our dog had a blast playing in the snow and he wants to stay! Thanks again! It was the perfect place to spend our 1st Anniversary! January 1, 2008: Yippee! New Year Day 2008. Loved your cabin and had a great time! Loved the firepit. We used it every night after digging it out from the snowfall. So much snow! Sorry we used all the wood. So glad you allowed dogs! Lacey loved it! We had a great snowmobile ride and enjoyed the Hot Tub to warm our bones! We will love to come back for another stay! December 29, 2007: We had a wonderful and relaxing time. You have done a wonderful job creating the fish theme throughout the cabin - even the toilet paper holder! Also enjoyed the twinkling Christmas lights. Would love to come back! December 25, 2008: We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the cabin and it was great to spend it here over Christmas. I know that we'll come back. I would love to spend a few days here in the Summer. I think that would just be as much fun as being here during the Winter. We also had fun reading what other folks had to say about the cabin. We too wondered what the mirror outside was about, never did figure it out. Merry Christmas! November 25, 2008: The best Thanksgiving ever! No stress! Dog loved running around. Deer & Elk tracks along the river & woke up to Elk bugling this morning. Thanks! September 12 - 15, 2006: Very relaxing environment. Great to get away from the city and do some river fishing. Caught a lot of Blue Ribbon rainbow. Big Trout under the big fallen log, but not biting. Family dinners were awesome, as were the stars. Great time to relax and fish. August 9 - 13, 2006: I'm back for a 2nd time. Just love to set by the river & meditate. So quiet out here. Love to walk up the road...the weather is great here. The cabin is really cute and cozy. Saw a beaver, several eagles, lots of hawks and a group of elk that crossed the river. The cabin was nicely furnished and was very clean & well kept. A very relaxing week. Thank you. Too many things to do and see, Cooper Lake, Fishing, Roslyn, The Brick, BBQ, Fire Pit, Fire in the Stove, good eats, good conversation & laughs, enjoyed the Tub for soaking. Thanks! June 27 - July 2, 2006: This is a great vacation spot. The cabin is too cute! I took a walk down the road and river, very relaxing. The place is so well kept. I just sat and collected my thoughts, no phone ringing, no stress...just great. Thanks to my good friend for bringing me here! Sept 16 - 18, 2005: Had a great time. We didn't catch any fish out back, but found a nice hole just up the river with a huge trout! We named him Walter, but he was smarter than us. We hired The Evening Hatch to take us on a guided fishing trip. Fishing was awesome. Our guide, Joe, was great and taught us a lot of tricks. Great times! Sept 1st, 2005: Thanks for the fun place to stay in! No fishing for us, but enjoyed morning walks w/coffee on the river. Property hunting went OK. We have a better idea of the areas we like. August 25th, 2005: Well, we've been here for a week, and are very relaxed now! Golfed at Suncadia, rented jet skiis at Lake Cle Elum, played in te Yakima River out back, and just had a great time. Our yellow lab, "Harley", never wants to leave. Talk about dog heaven! Thanks and we look forward to coming back again really soon. August 13 - 16, 2005: This was a very fun family vacation. Swam in the small side channel, and had fund playing in the current. Set up target to shoot with BB gun, floated the Yakima riverwith Mom, Dad, Kari and Erica. Used the Rills Raft rental. Saw a 4 point buck on the shore! August 2-5, 2005: Imagine, just one person here! Up at dawn to paint. Painted the bend in the river with the cabin in the shadows. Fished 11 - 2. Hits on Hare's ear nymphs. Wrote from 2 - 6. Read 6-8. Listened to CDs. Slepted out under the stars - did it again for 2 days. Now, I'm ready for Seattle again! Thanks, Mary Anne, Kevin and Wendie. July 25 - 31st, 2005: We had a great week! We got to look around and relax for a week. We saw deer, little tiny fish, but we didnt' get to catch anything. We also saw a couple of eagles and went swimming in the river. The dog had a great time! The cabins was nice, very home like, and the deck in the back was great! We also saw a cougar, wait I mean a cat! But, we had a great time! We can't wait to come back! July 22-24th, 2005: First trip for just us! We've both stayed in many places and in many locations. For the money and the distance from Seattle this far outdid them all. We did some fishing outback & caught 4 fish, one 16" rainbow. Took a day trip to Cooper Lake. We will be back in late winter, probably to look for some like property to build on. Very fun times, Thanks! July 24th, 2005: I've been meaning to tell you what a great time we had! It was the perfect place for us -- and the cabin is in such great condition, and nicely decorated too. Our kids loved the loft. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and played down at the river a lot too -- looking for baby fish... We even used our fishing poles a little (of course we didn't catch anything, but the kids didn't care). Thanks! June 4th, 2005: Hi Kevin & Wendie, My husband and I had a WONDERFUL time at your cabin - thank you so much for the experience! The cabin is perfectly located right next to the river in a secluded spot where we felt like we were really on vacation. My husband is an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed all the secluded fishing spots along the Yakima River. And our dog had the best time exploring the large grassy areas and playing with all the sticks! We loved the big deck, wood stove, and the fishing -themed dιcor and wood furniture was so charming. It's very well done! We will without a doubt be back for another weekend getaway -- we're so glad we discovered your cabin. It is like a little slice of heaven on earth. Your cabin is decorated nicely & is very comfortable. You can tell a lot of love has gone into it. The weather was gorgeous, sunny, high in 80s & the lake was incredibly beautiful. Perfect...I came alone for some R&R and enjoyed reading a book by the lake. My next trip here will be with my family for us all to enjoy together. June 18, 2006: Lake Cle Elum - Whitecapped everyday, but blue as the sky. The Sun - We started everyday bright and clear! The Cabin - The Best! We spent the days hiking & riding, but would fall back here to take a nap. Between sipping wine and talking until 2 to 4 in the morning we loved every minute!! Our Honeymoon Hideaway. February 20, 2006: A great, cozy cabin! A favorite location! January 15, 2006: We had a lovely stay at your cabin. The weather was perfect as we got some new snow during our stay and were able to go snow shoeing up at Salmon La Sac. The setting here is extremely peaceful, and we had a lovely time on Saturday night watching the snow fall and eating stew. This cabin is very nice and we look forward to being able to stay here again in the future. November 23, 2005: Thanksgiving Weekend! The snow was falling as we came across the pass and we have 15in of new snow here at the Cabin! We went snowmobiling at Cooper Lake. The trees were covered in snow, sunny and no wind made the conditions perfect! The cabin is very cozy and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay! Sept. 11,2005: We had a fun time down at the beach. Sharon, my sister Karen and I built a drift wood fort of our own. The we loved to wade in the water. At the cabin, Karen and I slept on the top bunk and the bottom. We were here two nights. Then the next day we went to Cooper Lake. We walked on a log in the water. As you can see we had a lot of fun! August 7, 2005: We are heading out after a wonderful time! There was awesome weather and we are very relaxed. We had a great time playing in Lake Cle Elum! Our family of 6 fit comfortably here and I think all of the declared that they want to live here. Our big excitement was getting to see the Fire Helicopter come to Lake Cle Elum to suck up a load to take to the forest fire...very cool! Well, we hope to be back - winter would be great here! Enjoy! July 22, 2005: We had a great time at the cabin & felt right at home. The kids loved everything about this place. When it was windy the loved the waves in the Lake. Yesterday there was no wind and the beach and lake were very different - very hot and the water was wonderful! Had fun by the Firepit making smores and being silly. This is a perfect getaway. See you next time! July 18, 2005: What a beautiful setting! Our family really enjoyed the beauty of Lake Cle Elum, the quiet of the night and the accessibility to numerous activities. We did jet skiing on Lake Cle Elum, kayaking, hiking near Salmon la Sac, a hike through Snoqualmie Tunnel, and river rafting on the Yakima River! This trip was a needed time away for us. It didn't snow but there was enough on the ground to go sledding. Our only complaint is not being able to stay longer! February 15, 2009: We came up for a friends wedding on Valentines Day. All in all it was a great trip. October 20, 2006: We stayed in the cabin for a week while we were performing field surveys along I-90. December 26, 2008: We had a great time at your house! We came for snow and boy did we get snow! It snowed everyday and a couple days it came down all afternoon. We are leaving tomorrow and we hope we can dig out our cars in the morning! It started snowing in the afternoon today - Christmas Day - and it is still snowing as we go to bed! Cooper Lake and River Trail were nice for Winter Hiking! October 2006: I had a wonderful time at your cabin. We were here for a week and we did a lot! We took a walk down a road to where the Salmon spawn. We went fishing at Lavender & Cooper Lake. Cooper Lake is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. We had dinner at the Brick, lunch at Cle Elum Bakery...both were good. We sat in the lounge at Suncadia and had dinner and drinks, we met great people there. We had lunch at Roslyn Cafe and also coffee at Pioneer...they also have Ice Cream:) We went to Diamondback's Bar and watched the Michigan game. It was fun and my husband recovered from the terrible thought of missing the football game! Thanks for everything, we had a relaxing vacation! October 1, 2006: We had a great time. Beautiful cabin with almost everything you could ask for. Very peaceful and quiet around here. Cooper Lake is a great scenic spot to fish. We saw three very tame deer. Went to Leavenworth, Wenatchee and Cashmere. All nice places t visit and only an hour drive or so. Look forward to returning. We saw X-Men 3 at the Roslyn Theater...that is a fun experience, very cozy and comfy with the pillows. They have great pizza at Village Pizza in Roslyn. The Lake Easton Ponds Park was a good place to fish with the kids. Nice golfing at Suncadia, but a bit windy. We'll be back! The kids enjoyed the sand and Lake Cle Elum too! May 21, 2006: We had a wonderful relaxing stay. So peaceful here, but I was surprised we didn't see any deer:) Very comfortable, well appointed. The only place with a view of the Mountains. Saturday we got to ride snowmobiles and it was lots of fun! The cabin was great, clean and roomy! Thank you. New Years 2005/2006: Wow! I really liked this cabin, it makes me miss our old one! Kudos to you guys on the whole decorating thing, its really cute and I noticed something new everyday w/a deer on it! Plus, my Dad's a hunter so he felt right at home. New Years 2005/2006 cont...: This cabin is great! Our family was very comfortable and enjoyed the clean, spacious accomodations. We will definitely be back. As previous cabin owners here locally it was nice to have year around access. We used to be in PineLoch Sun and had to snowmobile in. The decor is beautiful and surrounding views great! This made for a Happy New Year. Christmas 2005: Wow! What a great Christmas we had! The roomy living room was great for all the little children running around Christmas morning!! Everything was nice and cozy, the Mountains and outside setting is what everyone neeeds to wake up to. We loved the fireplace on our late nights. The WhiteTail Lodge is the best lodge around. Thank you again for a great experience! #15 – Elk Ridge Chalet Comments : September 1, 2008: This was our 2nd annual Labor Day trip to the "Cabin". The weather didn't cooperate as much as we would have liked, but we still enjoyed the warm pool, hot tub, ping-pong & hanging out at the river. This place is so nice and relaxing. It has become a favorite vacation spot. We hope to come back sometime this Winter to enjoy the snow. Thanks again! November 9, 2006: Had a great time! Like always, wish we could stay longer. Teh large windows let me see the dear and elk and we sure saw a lot! Thank goodness we brought the cameras. Far away from commotion, but not too far! Since we are from Los Angeles this was what we had hoped for...a winter getaway. The cabin is so cozy and inviting for snow gazing and fire side reading. We hung out and enjoyed the scenery. December 25, 2005: Our whole family came here for Christmas...What a gift! We had a tree & decorated the cabin, it turned out beautiful! We played in the snow and sledded down the hill. From the moment we opened the front door of your beautiful cabin thru our last day we've felt right at home. We've had sunshine and tons of snow. New Years Eve was an amazing day - the group enjoyed a full doa of snowmobiling, sleddinga and playing in the new snow. This was our first time renting, but we've stayed in Roslyn Ridge with our friends 3 years in a row. This time we were able to bring in the New Year enjoying it with 6 other families all staying in nearby cabins! What fun was had by all. Your cabin is perfect for families with young children who love to cook and bake! We had every necessary amenity. The kids loved the "secret room" too, and enjoyed your DVDs and games. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Christmas, 2007: This has been one of the best places we've ever stayed! It's so friendly for snowmobilers and so beautiful inside. We had so much fun the 1st weekend with 2 sets of our friends staying in Roslyn Ridge. We've had other friends come and go, but it's mainly just the 5 of us. We cooked a couple of wonderful dinners on Xmas eve and Xmas day. Everyday there's been sunshine and it's snowed constantly. Our sled trailer had at least 2 feet on top of it! Thanks again for everything! We'll be back! Thanksgiving, 2007: We spent our 4 day Thanksgiving weekend here. We live in the tri-cities and had a wonderful time enjoying the use of your beautiful home and seeing trees, snow and mountains! The kitchen was great to cook in and well stocked! Thanks again! Saw Beaver dams, Eagle's nests, a herd of Elk stopping by for a drink...it was like National Geographic! And the stars at night, quite the light show. So many sights you can't see from the big city. Amazing that amid all the natural beauty one can also enjoy modern comforts, including Air Conditioning, Cable TV, Gas BBQ, and granit countertops! Looking forward to Winter for our next visit... July 16, 2006: Our stay was amazing. The House..I'm sorry the "cabin" is beautiful. It's much more than we expected. Lake Cle Elum was great. We enjoyed kayaking and froliking in the water. Since it was summer we spent some quality time at the Pool too. The pools is "WOW"...I wish I had one of those in my backyard! Anyways hope whoever else stays here enjoys it as much as we did! July 6, 2006: Well, we certainly didn't do any snowmobiling in July, but we sure had a great time at the Pool at the Rec Center. The kids had a ball. The grown ups had fun too with the game table upstairs & the Ping Pong table in the garage. Lots of food and fun in Roslyn and Cle Elum. What a wonderful change of pace for the extended family.
