WELCOME TO THE HUNTLEY LODGE AND RETREAT
The Huntley Lodge and Retreat is your private estate for large groups, weddings, corporate retreats and family reunions! The Retreat is nestled in the trees on 20 scenic acres in the Teanaway Valley just 6 miles from Cle Elum. You’ll be greeted by a gated entrance and a winding road leading up to the Main Lodge through a grassy meadow. Sleeping accommodations for up to 40 guests on 8 Queen Beds and 16 Double Beds.

When entering the Main Lodge you’ll be inspired by the soaring 40 ft wall of windows and open floor plan that's ideal for entertaining large groups. The functional kitchen features slab granite counters, stainless appliances and a 6 burner gas cook top. In the great room the walls are lined with granite counters, ideal for serving lines or additional indoor eating space. The centerpiece of the Lodge is the wood burning, stone fireplace and comfortable couches for telling stories late into the evening. There’s also an over-sized dining table and beverage bar. Upstairs in the Lodge you’ll be greeted by a TV Lounge, additional dining/game table, kid’s game table and an office for those of you that can’t leave work behind! The cabin is equipped with 8MB Wireless Internet to make it a convenient venue for corporate retreats and conferences.

Just outside the Lodge is an expansive entertainment patio. The patio is ideal for outdoor weddings and large summer gatherings. The views of the meadow and surrounding hills and mountains will make you feel like you’re isolated from the outside world during your stay. There's also a four sided decorative arbor for wedding ceremonies.

The outdoor living area is supported by a covered outdoor cooking/prep area, entertainment bar and a huge 10 person Hot Tub! The bar has a large flat screen TV, stereo, Dish Network, and DVD Player. The outdoor kitchen has 2 large gas BBQs, a 6 burner gas cook top/range, ice maker, hot dog warmer, under the counter fridges, and an ice maker.

Just off the Patio is a 2nd lounging deck next to the above ground Pool (Summer Time only). Pool dimensions are 17ft x 29 ft x 52 inches deep. There are 9 holes of frisbee golf and 3 horseshoe pits. The kid's will also enjoy hours of fun on the outdoor play structure!

Set among the trees above the Main Lodge are 4 cabin duplexes, for a total of 8 individual cabins. Each duplex has an outdoor covered deck for relaxing and taking in the views. The cabins are very comfortable and are each furnished with a Queen Bed, 2 Full Beds, private bathroom with a shower, and a dining table. All eight cabins have microwaves, small fridges, and coffee makers. Each cabin sleeps up to 6 comfortably. The cabins are all within a very short 20 to 100 yd walk to the Main Lodge.

The Retreat can accommodate up to 40 overnight guests, and daytime weddings or gatherings up to 100. Daytime group sizes over 40 will be charged a daily event fee.

The Huntley Lodge and Retreat is set above the picturesque Teanaway Valley just 6 miles east of Cle Elum and a 90 minute drive from Seattle. The Teanaway River is less than a mile away for excellent fly fishing, or taking a summer time dip in the River. Some of Washington State’s best snowmobiling is just a few miles away up the Teanaway Valley or Blewitt Pass. The Suncadia Golf Course is just a short 9 mile drive from the Lodge. During the summer you can take a short drive to Lake Cle Elum for boating, water skiing, jet skiing and fishing for Lake Trout. There are area vendors who offer snowmobiles, pontoon boats, jet skis, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards for rent.

Sleeping space for 19 in the clean & roomy cabins was ideal. Many toys for the pool. Lots of space for visiting, cooking, dining. Outdoor kitchen spacious & dishwasher was quick & handy. We were disappointed that the indoor oven was not heating properly, our door stand up fridge was out of order but had plenty of room with both indoor & outdoor under the counter refrigerators was enough. Ice machine was fabulous. Drew, the caretaker, gave excellent tour & instructions of the facility. He was very helpful with checking on the indoor oven, working on fixing the outdoor music sound system, & making sure all was clean.

We rented the lodge for a get together that we call the all girls campout, this year marked 50 years of our weekend get together. The lodge was perfect for the 36 of us, we had a fabulous time, the lodge is well equipped with all the kitchen items we needed to cook our breakfast and diners

Our group of 25 really had a wonderful time! The space is fantastic, plenty of room for everyone to relax, and enjoy the scenery. We used all the game tables for cards, used the Pool Table and made ourselves at home on the huge patio. We had an outdoor fire every night, and also in the grand fireplace inside. <br/><br/>The outdoor kitchen space really saved us for food prep area. VERY handy! <br/><br/>Drew, the Property Caretaker, is wonderful. He kept our wood pile full every day, managed our trash and made sure we had all the things we needed. We are thankful for him! <br/><br/>Our entire group of 25 adults really enjoyed the property and are already planning a time to go back! <br/><br/>Thank you all!

Huntley Lodge is a wonderful getaway for a large group. Our second stay was as fabulous as our first and we are planning our third trip for next year. The outdoor commercial kitchen, large spaces to gather, and individual cabins to retreat too make it an extra special space. Drew (nearby maintenance person) is so welcoming and wonderful. He takes wonderful care of guests and is extraordinarily welcoming. We love this spot!

Wonderful Wedding weekend

The property was an ideal place for young adults to stay for a long wedding weekend. The surroundings were beautiful. With guests from as far as New York and London we were looking for a place they could spend time together for a few days. There were plenty of activities to enjoy on site. The pool, hot tub, and sand volleyball court were all used. The lodge itself was a spacious gathering place for meals, card playing, and visiting after 10 pm quiet hours. The outdoor grill area was also a popular spot for gathering to eat and enjoy music. The caretaker lives on the premises and was very helpful and friendly. We did not always get a response from the property management prior to the wedding (ex outdoor lighting setup, is ice maker onsite) which made planning a little more difficult due to only seeing pictures online. Overall, this property is exactly what we were hoping despite the distant residents who seemingly intentionally chose to target practice with semi automatic weapons during part of the reception. We just laughed it off and refused to let them spoil our evening.

My partner and I had our wedding at Huntley Lodge on 8/12/23. It was an absolute dream, and so much of that was because of Huntley Lodge (and the caretaker- he is the BEST!) Our family of 25 adults and kids spent our second time at the Huntley for a family reunion. The place is perfect for a large crowd to gather. The accommodations are comfortable and clean, the common areas are of high quality, and the kitchens are a dream. Especially the outdoor industrial dishwasher! We've stayed at the Huntley Lodge twice now and each time has been a memorable experience. The caretakers Kevin and Jeremy are just a phone call away but do not intrude on the stay at all. The cabins were generally clean and the lodge was well stocked. The set up provides everyone an opportunity to mingle but also retreat to their own cabins when they want a break. It is a great place for guests of all ages. We had one year olds, teenagers, 70 year olds and every age in between and the Huntley Lodge fit everyone's needs. There is enough room for a large extended family to enjoy each other's company without feeling crowded. We've rented in November and February. In February the snow was too bad for everyone to make it up the hill so we just made trips with the AWD cars we had available. If you have mobility issues this isn't the place for you as the cabins can be a steep walk and even harder in the snow. We'd love to rent in the summer, but it is quite spendy, so we've only rented in the off season. Overall, would recommend to large groups.

If you are looking for a 5 star luxury resort this is not the place. However, if you are looking for a great place for a three generation family (8 adults and 5 kids 2 - 11) gathering you probably can't find any place better. There is tons of room; each family had their own cabin with plenty of place to hang out together in the main lodge, patio and pool. The furniture is a bit worn which is perfect for families with young kids, allowing the adults to relax. We were there in August when temps reached nearly 100 degrees. Surprisingly, the cabins cooled off pretty well at night with only the fans. We loved the outdoor kitchen and star gazing at night with little ambient light to interfere. The onsite caretakers could not have been more helpful but definitely stayed way in the background. A great family vacation spot!

Wonderful lodge with everything we needed for my 60th birthday gathering and our big family. The outdoor and indoor lodge space is fully stocked and spacious. Our theatrical improv company booked a retreat here. It was amazing! The place was clean and beautiful. It had everything we needed for a fun and productive stay. We did a show in Cle Elum for the community. Then came back to the retreat for dining in the outdoor barbecue area and had a great time enjoying the pool and hottub. The care-taker was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

We stayed at the Huntley Lodge this past weekend. It was a group of 30 friends and their families. The property has a main lodge and 4 duplexes. Each duplex has two cabins, and each cabin is basically a large room with a queen size bed and two full size beds in a slightly partitioned area. So each room/cabin fits 4 comfortably but there is a couch and an extra mattress in the closet. There is small kitchenette table with a fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. The room also has a closet and a couple of chest of drawers to put your stuff. <br/><br/>However, if you go with a large group of friends and family, you’re going to be spending most of your time at the main lodge which was a super big hit with our group. The kids jumped into the pool in the day time, then hung out at the main lodge playing board games, pool and other things. The adults made breakfast in the inside kitchen, brought it outside on the huge patio and ate while enjoying amazing and serene views of the hills. <br/><br/>Then we drove to a close by hike (Coal Miners trail) and hiked for about 4 miles. We came back and started working on the BBQ. We made burgers on the outside bar grills and listened to music on our phones by connecting them to the large outdoor speakers via blue tooth. <br/><br/>In the late afternoon we played frisbee and horseshoe. They also have a volley ball net so some of the folks went and played volley ball. Then some sat in their large hot tub.<br/><br/>Dinner was a big thing! We used their indoor oven, their outdoor grills, their bar area for drinks, listened to music, ate our food outside on the patio surrounded by nice lights going all around the patio. <br/><br/>After dinner, everyone grabbed a drink, we lit up a fire in their large outdoor fireplace and sat around it. The kids made s’mores and the adults talked and relaxed.<br/><br/>It was a memorable weekend full of fun, laughter, dancing, drinks, food and a super amazing private property. The caretakers D

Huntley Lodge is a wonderful place for a family gathering. The many duplex cabins allowed for various family groupings, from a cabin of female cousins to spaces which accommodated a whole family. There were many cooking areas from the inside kitchen to the outside kitchen to the BBQs. Of course one cannot overlook the importance of the pool. The youngest cousins never left it! There were many many gathering places for small groupings: the livingroom, the loft lounge, the dining tables and the pool lounging areas to name just a few. The kitchens were well stocked with any and all cooking implements. The cabins were quite comfortable. The place was clean and tidy.

We had a wonderful, relaxed time at Huntley Lodge for five days with our entire family. The facility provided us with lots of room to gather together and enjoy time relaxing and playing games and swimming, etc as well as wonderful clean duplexes for overnight. I would like to start by saying we had an amazing time and we will definitely recommend this vacation site to friends! That being said our group did have a general consensus that the grass needs to be mowed around the disc golf baskets and there should be something placed at the bottom of the showers as they were VERY slippery and we had children and elderly persons slip.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Main lodge floors could use a good wet mop, I know it gets dusty, and it is hard to keep it clean. We left the kitchen cleaner than we found it. Everything was clean, just not super clean. It would be great to get the shed, the garden, and the storage units into a better organization (or just get rid of the whole thing). The location is so beautiful and all that stuff in the middle of the view along with the kid's run-down playground is such an eyesore. The property could use a little care and reorg. But I love it, I have been a repeat customer for 5 years in a row. The ground keepers are hard-working and kind.

Once again, our family had an amazing experience at the Huntley Lodge! The cabins were clean and roomy although we didn't spend much time in them. We were a family with three generations and something for all of us to do between swimming, volleyball, frisbee golf, and hiking. It was the absolute best to hear the entire family playing and laughing together. We departed tired but smiling with everyone asking to do it again next year!

We had a wonderful experience at Huntley Lodge. The outside kitchen was a life-saver due to the extremely hot weather during our stay, as was the pool. Our recommendation is that perhaps air conditioning could be added to the Lodge. The misting area outside was a nice touch for those who not choose to go into the pool. Fun Winter Getaway for a Large Group!

Our group of 8 families greatly enjoyed the Huntley lodge over MLK weekend. We had 20 kids with us ages 4-14 and it was fun for all ages! There was a lot of snow, and the property is so great we never once left over long weekend. There are plenty of sledding hills right on the property and our large group never felt crowded. The lodge is spacious, with the kids mostly hanging out upstairs enjoying the pool table, foosball, and/or watching a movie. The adults were able to hang out downstairs or enjoy the fire pit outside. Drew - the onsite caretaker, was great. Incredibly helpful - refreshing our stash of firewood regularly and helping with any and all questions and concerns, yet remained completely unobtrusive! <br/>The cabins are nice and clean, and it was great for each family to have their own private space to retreat to at the end of the day. Also the outdoor kitchen is amazing! Our large group used it regularly despite it being the middle of winter!<br/>Some appliances in the lodge are showing wear and tear (for example the one of the ovens wasn't working well and the microwave seemed ready to die at any moment) however neither of these things negatively impacted our trip (there were other ovens and each cabin had a nice new microwave) just general things to point out.<br/>Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun vacation with a large group. We're already talking about dates for next year!

Our group of 8 families greatly enjoyed the Huntley lodge over MLK weekend. We had 20 kids with us ages 4-14 and it was fun for all ages! There was a lot of snow, and the property is so great we never once left over long weekend. There are plenty of sledding hills right on the property and our large group never felt crowded. The lodge is spacious, with the kids mostly hanging out upstairs enjoying the pool table, foosball, and/or watching a movie. The adults were able to hang out downstairs or enjoy the fire pit outside. Drew - the onsite caretaker, was great. Incredibly helpful - refreshing our stash of firewood regularly and helping with any and all questions and concerns, yet remained completely unobtrusive! <br/>The cabins are nice and clean, and it was great for each family to have their own private space to retreat to at the end of the day. Also the outdoor kitchen is amazing! Our large group used it regularly despite it being the middle of winter!<br/>Some appliances in the lodge are showing wear and tear (for example the one of the ovens wasn't working well and the microwave seemed ready to die at any moment) however neither of these things negatively impacted our trip (there were other ovens and each cabin had a nice new microwave) just general things to point out.<br/>Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun vacation with a large group. We're already talking about dates for next year!

We very much enjoyed this property, the beautiful setting, the kindness of the staff, and the accommodations. It was just the right size for the 33 of us. <br/>Our only complaint is that the hanging pelts were very disturbing, especially to the young children. And, the booking photos showed a kids play area which was not there. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with our stay.

It's nice to have the main lodge for gathering and all of the cabins for sleeping accommodations. Thank you for pointing out that the kids play area is no longer up in the loft area. We missed taking that picture off the website when some modifications were made to the main lodge. There is the big kids play structure outside though. There is a table upstairs in the loft area for playing games or doing crafts, etc. I hope you were able to make due with that.

We took our company on a retreat, to bond and relax for the weekend and they all had a great time. We have no words to explain how happy and satisfied we were. Not to mention, Drew, property's caretaker, he was amazing very attentive and nice. I really recommend it, we stayed at, The Huntley Lodge and we love it everything about it!

We have a group of about 24 ladies with many friendships going back over 50 years. We get together for a l one weekend once a year and Huntley Lodge is absolutely perfect for us. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, and the lodge is perfect for bringing the group together. The amenities such as the outdoor kitchen and tables, and fireplaces and hot tub, just add to the experience. The location is secluded and beautiful for taking walks. The caretakers are attentive to our needs without being intrusive. This resort is on the rustic side, but with 24 former Girl Scouts, we love rustic!

The Huntley Lodge was the perfect choice for our daughter's wedding. The venue is beautiful and being able to house the wedding party and immediate family was a huge bonus. We had the rehearsal dinner, wedding and the day after to celebrate and relax. The outdoor areas were perfect for the event and the outdoor kitchen was amazing! We reserved the Huntley Lodge and the Teanaway Ranch Guest House for our four day July 2019 Family Reunion. We could not have found a more perfect venue. It was beyond our expectations. And the weather was great! Plenty to do for all ages. The Lodge was perfect for indoor activities and gatherings with plenty of room. The outdoor space was well laid out and provided numerous options for seating. We loved the kitchen facilities both inside and out. What fun it was to cook in that outdoor kitchen. Absolutely everything you needed as far as cooking utensils, pans, etc. was provided. The cabins were super clean and thoughtfully laid out to accommodate family groups. We had about 40 people in our group and everyone was impressed with how great we were treated by Drew and his team. He was ever available but never intrusive. More than accommodating and you could tell he really wanted everyone to have a good time. Thank you all - from booking to leaving. I can't say enough good about Huntley Lodge. I hope to return again someday. We highly recommend the Lodge for group gatherings.

2019 Family Weekend at The Huntley Lodge

This was the third year our family of 31 stayed at Huntley Lodge. And we are already booked again for next summer. The accommodations, kitchen areas (both inside and outside),plenty of refrigerator and freezer space, gathering areas and activities,(swimming pool, hot tub, volleyball court, disc golf, and child play ground) are what keep us coming back. Mr. Drew, the caretaker is attentive and makes sure our needs are always met. It is in a private and beautiful setting. It was an unanimous vote by the family to return next year for our family weekend.

This is the 2nd year I've utilized The Huntley Lodge & Retreat for my 32 person retreat :) The main lodge & duplexes are fantastic for events like this. The caretaker on site is AWESOME. The only issue we had is the outdoor kitchen wasn't working at 100% so the chef had some issues getting the meals out on time. Otherwise- I would absolutely recommend this place for all your events!

We greatly enjoyed our time there. Drew, the caretaker, is friendly and very accommodating. He helped us get settled and answered any questions. The cans were roomy and very nice. The lodge itself was such a great place to hold our meetings and get togethers. the kitchen had everything imaginable to cook with. the outdoor kitchen with the big screen TV was awesome! We watched Monday night football under the stars with a fire in the pit. So cozy! We plan to return in the fall next year.

We chose Huntley lodge to host an 80th birthday party for my mother / family reunion. What a PERFECT choice for us! Each family had their own private sleeping quarters, and the kitchen and outdoor kitchen were exactly what we needed to provide meals for everyone for three days! We couldn't have asked for a better location. The kids had plenty to do, entertaining themselves with the pool table, foos ball, musical instruments, playground equipment, frisbee golf, etc. Thank you Huntley! And special shout out to Drew, who took excellent care of us while we were there.

A beautiful, perfect location for 25 women having our annual fun get-together weekend. Cabins are comfortable and roomy, main lodge is great, and the outdoor kitchen was so fun. The family came together to honor the family patriarch who had recently passed away. The Lodge accommodated all 38 adults comfortably and had ample spaces to go to if you wanted to be alone. Kitchen, both indoor and out, well equipped. On site staff amazing to work with. Would definitely come back.

Always a fun weekend for our team retreat! We have been coming for years and the property has everything we need for a successful weekend. Didn't like the mice invasion this year, but understand we are in the woods. The furniture in the main house is showing it's age. For the price of the rental, we feel that should be a priority for the owners!

With plenty of activities both inside and out, this property is well designed to provide ample gathering space for large groups. Our family of 25 made great use of the pool, jaccuzi, frisbee golf course, horseshoes, softball and volleyball gear, foose ball and billiards and spent some time jamming on the musical instruments in the lodge.<br/>There is abundant seating both inside and out to relax and enjoy the company and scenery.<br/>The lodge caretaker was very helpful and readily available for questions or issues during our stay.<br/>We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

20 of our staff stayed at Huntley Lodge for a weekend retreat. To say that the Lodge, staff, and services were fantastic would be a gross understatement. The Lodge and grounds are beautiful. There were more than enough beds for all and the Lodge was fully stocked with every accommodation imaginable. Drew and his team are very helpful and friendly. They even brought up toothbrushes for those forgetful few! I highly recommend staying at Huntley Lodge.

From start to finish it was seamless. This is the first time I've ever had the pleasure of having a caretaker that lives right there on the property to assist you! Drew was an absolute pleasure. We had no problems from beginning with the booking of the property all the way through to the end when we left. Directions were clear, the house was well stocked, just as pictured and our event was better because of it. I will be back :) Thank you!!

Experience was wonderful with huge family. Really could use a huge fridge inside lodge and pool table was dangerous with little kids. Maybe provide a cover when families with little come to stay?

The Huntley Lodge was the perfect location and size for our group of 23 overnight guests for a week in December for our annual team retreat. Our staff comes from all over the world, and we cook most of our own meals. The indoor and outdoor kitchens were put to good use, the lodge space separated from the sleeping cabins allowed everyone to have personal time and group time, and despite the warning that internet connectivity was limited, we had no problems at all on the wifi. We enjoyed the central Washington natural surroundings and weather, the extra large hot tub, the festive holiday decorations, and the caretaker was friendly and efficiently responsive to the very few requests we had onsite. I'd strongly recommend this property to tight-knit groups and families, and of course it seemed like a well-suited wedding locale too. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was the second time we have held a family event at Huntley Lodge. We found it just as delightful this time as we did a year ago. Drew met us when we arrived and was very welcoming and supplied us with the answers to any questions that we had. Everything was in good order, and we enjoyed three wonderful days with our family group. There are good accommodations for activities of all of the age groups that exist in our family. Huntley Lodge was the perfect place for our annual family's extended weekend. The accommodations were perfect. The cabins and lodge were clean. There was plenty for all to do. The kitchens both inside and outside were fully equipped for cooking for a large crowd. Drew and Rob, the caretakers were always available, whether it was picking up garbage or opening the pool. We absolutely loved the improved deck and pool! The deck is perfect space for yoga. I also was happy to see that the outdoor furniture got updated to something nicer. The cabins are very clean and very nice.<br/>Improvement needs: BBQ needs maintenance. My chef said the lighter is not working and she almost burned her hand trying to get it going. The BBQ grates need to be replaces as well. <br/>I do know east side of I 90 is dry and dusty, but if the cabins can be dust free, so can the main lodge. I have been at Huntley's lodge three times and the main lodge is always a little dusty, the floor is not mopped and the windows can use an outside cleaning. It is such beautiful building, it could look so much better with a complete cleaning and less furniture... <br/>Outside of this , we love our stay and I will be happy to return for more retreats in the future.

The Huntly Lodge was perfect for our family reunion. It sleept all 32 family members perfectly. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and pool all day. We were able to take full advantage of the out door kitchen. We enjoyed golf frisbee witch turned into a tour hiking tour of the property. We hosted an event for 30+ people for our first statewide Democracy Summit. The venue was amazing with incredible surrounding and views. The cabins were very comfortable and the amenities amazing. We were also very impressed with the kitchen facilities both inside the lodge and outdoor kitchen. We only wish it was warmer for the outdoor sink too. We have been to the Huntley Lodge several times before and our large extended family always enjoy our time there. The cabins and lodge are cozy, the indoor and outdoor kitchen are well supplied, (though the outside kitchen is very cold in January and they no longer supply propane heaters like previous years) There is lots of room and lots of things for everyone to do. Caretakers are helpful and friendly.

We had a great time for Christmas at the Huntley lodge. Overall the lodge was wonderful and we liked the individual cabins. The management staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was so much room in the lodge that our group of 26 was very comfortable. The only recommendation I would make is to have a separate place for toddlers and children to play, since our small ones didn't have a place. There was an amazing amount of dining seating for our group, but the kitchen was tiny and very hard to work in for our big group. But really, the size of the kitchen was the only problem with the whole experience!

We have been taking our six grown children and our grandchildren on a getaway each year for the past five years. Each year has been a new destination. This year "hands down" the entire gang voted to return to the Huntley Lodge next year. There was never a dull moment, lots of games, sledding, hot tubing. The cabins were very roomy and clean. The Huntley Lodge just provided our family with one of the most perfect gatherings that we have ever had. The cozy lodge has ample space for a big group. The loft areas hold varied possibilities for fun for the teenagers in the group, while giving the feeling that we are still all together. Kitchen facilities left nothing to be desired in our meal preparations, and are so well- situated that no one felt left out while doing meal prearations and clean-up duties. <br/>The lodge and all cabins were clean and inviting when we arrived. Drew helped us get acquainted with the heating and other systems, so that we were comfortable during the whole three-day stay. He even brought lots more firewood when we began to run low. All 35 of us enthusiastically agreed that we want to return next year for our Thanksgiving gathering.<br/>Weather permitted several games of frisbee golf, the hot tub was a joys for several guests, and the trails up the hillside provided for some nice walks outdoors. The snow-dusted mountains to the east were a beautiful sitht from the great room in the lodge. For us, there was nothing missing in this lovely wooded setting. I have already recommended this property to a number of our friends for large family/friend festivities.

We booked Huntley for our wedding. All Seasons was great about communicating and helping out prior to the weekend. Once we were there, the property caretakers were also very helpful and friendly, even driving to Radio Shack to help us find a cable for the stereo (be prepared for a stereo that doesn't accept a stereo/mini jack input!). Our 90 guests really enjoyed the property--many folks asked us how we found such an amazing place. Our caterers also enjoyed the kitchen facilities immensely. Other than quirks with the stereo, no power on the patio, and breakers tripping in both kitchens, we have no complaints.

We loved our family reunion stay at Huntley lodge! The cabins were very nice, perfectly clean and comfortable. The cooking & kitchen facilities were fabulous. The lodge was a great gathering place where the cousins could all interact and enjoy getting reacquainted and we loved having the whole property to ourselves. The caretakers were very friendly, kind, helpful and immediately responded to any needs we had. It was well stocked with supplies and equipment. My only suggestion would be to have a basic list of equipment & amenities (roughly how many/what sizes of pans/bowls, etc. Cooking facilities--how many ovens, grills, refrigerator/freezer space, toys available, etc.) There was much, much more available than we anticipated, which was awesome! I just wish that I had known that it was there to simplify our packing. Having a bit more of an organized system for the kitchen equipment storage would be really nice as well, although I realize that is difficult to maintain. Overall, it was a wonderful property and we wished we could have stayed longer!

We rented the lodge from Thursday-Sunday and had our wedding on Friday. Not only was the view to die for, but our family was coming from all over the country and the lodge hosted the perfect gathering place. Our wedding was all DIY and family run so the huge kitchen, outdoor grilling space, multiple fridges, and storage space were key in the wedding being so successful. The caretakers went out of there way to make sure we were happy and had all of our accommodations. The lawn games, pool and hot tub were icing on the cake. We were close enough to the town where we could make emergency safeway runs, but far enough away we felt connected with nature. I would do it all over again!

We stayed with 30 of our friends and family at the Huntley lodge for our wedding weekend. The wedding itself was hosted on the property and accommodated around 100 guests without a hitch. We could not have been happier with how things turned out! There was enough room for those who stayed to get to hang out together but also get away for alone time; kids loved the play spaces and pool; the kitchen acommodations and supplies were perfect; and the setting was beautiful. From the beginning of working with Vacation Rentals I knew it was going to be a good stay. They had timely response, and were very kind people to work with. <br/><br/>The lodge is stocked with all the necessary cooking equipment and everything is kept in great condition and very clean. The cabins are also wonderful. A few people complained of sore backs on the beds, but the whole arrangment was nicer than many hotels. Plenty of space, and a good bathroom. And right outside is a wonderful balcony to sit on.<br/><br/>In the winter months it can get very icy or muddy depending on how cold it is so make sure you have 4wheel drive for going up some of the steeper hills.<br/><br/>It was the perfect place for our winter wedding!

We rented the property for 3 nights for our Valentine's wedding weekend. The cabins were spacious, very comfortable and private. We had about 17 people stay the weekend and 40 people at our wedding. I couldn't have asked for a more fun weekend and beautiful venue for our wedding. There was snow everywhere but the roads were fine. It's a perfect location to take a day trip to Leavenworth and it's easy to town in Cle Elum and pick up anything you need. The kitchen in the lodge and outdoor area is nicely stocked with everything you need. The caretaker Drew was terrific. He was so nice and so helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed and cleared all the snow off the patio for us and blew the area clean. He had plenty of firewood for us & helped get our chairs set up for the guests. We loved this lodge, the cabins and the location and it was the perfect wedding for us.

The owners are delightful and super helpful! They welcomed us on our first day, made sure we had everything we needed and even took a group photo before we headed out! The main lodge is stocked with everything you need including a ton of kitchen cookware which made cooking large meals easy. The 32 members of our family had a perfect weekend celebrating a 92nd birthday. Everyone thought is was a great place for our reunion. The Lodge is spacious and beautiful. The outdoor patio was wonderful - everyone loved all the space and especially the views - NE people were is awe. All the guys wanted to take home the outdoor cooking area. Everything was wonderful, cabins were clean.<br/>The main lodge floor was not clean. We used it one day to do yoga, we temporarily pushed furniture away to make room and we ended up having to dry mop it was so dirty. I think it could use a wet mop as well. But again I do have a cleaning OCD and not everyone lays down on the floor... but we did. Anyway, we left it cleaner than we found it. The only other big feedback is the Jacuzzi. We are really an all organic only healthy stuff gets in our body super fit crowd, I say this because despite our love for mother earth we all agreed Jacuzzi needs more bleach. After the second day it was murky and yucky already and we could not use it. It was not clean enough. The water did not smell at all of chlorine, so we thought it needed more chemicals to keep it going for 3 days which should be nothing for a Jacuzzi that size... It is a 10 people Jacuzzi so... it gets a lot of bodies.<br/>The coffee makers in some of the cabin rooms don't work, they did not work last year either, so I am thinking maybe next year when I return it would be wonderful if they would work. <br/>Overall, I love Huntley's lodge and I am planning to return every year.<br/>Oh just a note on design. The lodge is so beautiful and it has some beautiful outdoor furniture. I would get rid of the ugly plastic long tables on the patio. It cheapens the whole experience, it is so ugly. I actually temporary moved it so I would not have to look at it straight on. I understand some groups need that much table space but I would not have it out there for everyone. It is an eyesore.(and when moved out of the way it creates ugly clutter in the corner) I moved it, put flowers on the nice outdoor tables and all of a sudden the patio went from cheap motel to 5 star hotel... just saying :-)<br/>Thanks again, Dora

We do use pine sol with a wet mop on the Lodge floor between every rental. All the outside walk ways are gravel so it needs it after every rental. Thanks for the other suggestions as well!

We had a great time. The cabin had absolutely everything we needed for our party so we did not have to bring anything. The hottub was hot and the swimming pool large enough for the party of kids. The facility had enough movies and video games so kids had a blast. the cottage rooms are cozy and comfortable. The care taker Drew was accomodating, friendly and helpful, taking care of all of our needs. Suggestions: ATT cell phones don't work there so I had to walk down the hill to get reception. Folks with Verizon had a bar so they were able to call out. The large coffee maker needs instructions posted by it because some of us are not familiar with commercial coffee makers

I had my wedding here, it was perfect. Many of my guests commented on how much they loved the setting. The rooms were clean and nice! I love that they do not force you to use their caterers which you find with most venues. Marino was fun and very helpful, he was there whenever we needed him. My wife and I rented out the lodge for several days before our wedding so that we could spend some extra time with our friends and families, and we are so glad we did! The property was BEAUTIFUL, the onsite staff was super helpful, and the entire place was stocked to the brim with anything we could ask for! We relaxed in the 12 person hot tub, watched movies on the large flat screen, and enjoyed several rounds of frisbee golf! If we could have possibly had the wedding at the lodge (we had more than the maximum 100 guests) we absolutely would have! Some of our family is already talking about renting the lodge again next summer!<br/><br/>I can only think of two things that could have been better. The frisbee golf course is overgrown and hard to maneuver through (they need a map of the holes!) and the cable situation with the large flat screen tv is a disaster. I don't even think the surround sound was working anymore, but I think that's probably the fault of previous renters, not the management.

We loved pretty much everything about the place. Especially the outside cooking adn eating area. We self catered and it worked out great. The pool is very small but nice to cool off in. The variety of refrigerators made it hard to keep track of our supplies, but we managed. Beds were OK. I wish they had left the bunk beds in some of the cabins. Would have given more flexibility for sleeping arraignments.But overall a really great experience.

We had a fantastic time at the Huntley Lodge!! There were 18 children ( mostly young) and 22 adults, and we had so much room and fun! Sleeping arrangements were great and of course the care taker Marino was always helpful and there if we needed him. We would all go back for another get together in the future. Thanks!!

This Lodge is fabulous. Classy...but gently worn so that you don't feel like you can't put your feet up and get comfortable. The outdoor kitchen and courtyard area were used extensively during our summer was hard to actually get away and see neighboring sites as we were so comfortable at the lodge. We will definitely come back.....

We held a women's retreat at the lodge in May 2013 and it was absolutely fabulous. The lodge was a nice size and the weather permitted us to cook outside in the awesome outdoor kitchen. For a group our size (32) this was a necessity because the indoor kitchen is really not big enough to cook for that many. A couple of small things - some of the rooms smelled a little bit like cigarette smoke. Also, for our needs, we really could have used another separate room besides the main lodge that was closed off. There was some other space in the loft upstairs which will likely work very well for most, but for us having a separate space would have been great. Marino was very helpful and checked on us periodically and started the fire pit for us both nights. I would highly recommend this location!

We had a small winter wedding weekend at the Huntley. Our guests LOVED it. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the hot tub was a well-used amenity, and the location was beautiful. The staff did a great job of trying to make the roads as passable as possible. It gave a great balance of allowing some privacy with the cabins combined with a great common space to visit. We were able to fit just under 50 for the ceremony and reception inside (with some quick switching) and we has just under 25 stay at the lodge. It never felt crowded. Although it was a bit untraditional, it was our dream wedding in the mountains--we even got to go for a hike the morning of! We look forward to bringing a group back in the future.

This is the third year at Huntley for the Ski Buddies Group and we love it. Wendie, Kevin and Merino do a great job of taking care of our group. The property is wonderful for a winter outdoor adventure club like Ski Buddies.<br/><br/>The only problem was the hot tub. When you take the cover off the hot tub is at 104 degrees which is great. Once the cover is off however, the temp of the tub decreased very rapidly to 98/99 degrees - too cool for an enjoyable hot tub experience. Many guests did not use it because it was too cool.

A good place for a company retreat

Only 90 minutes from downtown, and close enough to the highway to be easily accessible, this lodge and its amenities (with one exception) makes a good destination for a company management team wanting to get away from the office to work on key things.<br/><br/>The lodge easily accommodates 24 people in their own beds (not cots, sofabeds), and has well furnished rooms to make everyone comfortable. The main lodge is a great meeting space that allows everyone to gather together, or also break into teams. The kitchen and dining areas are perfect for their purpose as well.<br/><br/>The down sides: the internet service is not acceptable for a business needing to access anything remotely - and I do mean *anything*, even email. When any more than 2-3 people were connected, it slowed down to a crawl, and we learned there was a bandwidth cap that prevented us from accessing necessary documents. Additionally, the property was quite icy, and the attempts at sanding were not adequate to ensure people would not slip and fall. A couple of staircases should be added to make travel to the upper cabins safer.<br/><br/>Those things aside, we would likely book here again for a similar event. We'd just download all necessary documents in advance!

We gathered at the lodge for a 50th birthday celebration and snowmobile trip. Our group had a great time and upon leaving were discussing when we could come back! Our group consisted of several families with kids and having a large space to gather, but seperate sleeping quarters was perfect! Kids (and adults!) loved the sledding hill. The only downfall was that we could not snowmobile directly from the lodge to the trails. We had a great stay, thanks! Might make it an annual trip.

Our family reunion was a phenomenal event, three days at Huntley Lodge with everyone happy- the Huntley is so peaceful and well set up for people to gather and spend time in small or big bunches, really hard to imagine until you experience it. We only found this place online, and so hoped it could be this nice, but the Huntley Lodge was beautiful, the cabins were super nice, and being there was just excellent. It was so good for relaxing together that we turned the TV off for 2 days - during the Olympics! Our only regret was that when some of us chose to take great hikes and leave the Lodge, the area was excellent but we felt that even though we loved the hikes, we were missing out on relaxation like none other, missing the hang time at the Lodge. We chose to have our July wedding at the Huntley Lodge and are SOOOO happy with our decision!! It was an absolutely gorgeous setting with everything we needed for a fantastic 85 person wedding. The cabins are very nice! Nothing super fancy, but were perfect for guests to stay onsite after the festivities! Marino was so helpful and we were very pleased to have his help moving furniture and setting up tables and chairs (which we also rented from the lodge). <br/><br/>This lodge seriously has EVERYTHING from kitchen supplies to extension cords. Our only complaint was the amount of furniture... We utilized the patio for our ceremony and dinner, and the lodge for our dance/socializing area. It took us about 3 hours to move and return all the furniture, so plan accordingly! :) We had lots of help so it was more of a team building exercise for friends and family!<br/><br/>In addition, the outdoor kitchen is OUT OF CONTROL (in a good way!)! It was such an awesome addition to the beautiful scenery - by adding a bit of fancy! The catering company we hired used the outdoor kitchen to cook and serve. There are granite bar tops that our bartender served drinks from, as well as a flat screen - which we used for an ongoing photo slideshow. We had so many compliments on the lodge and its facilities!<br/><br/>All and all, our wedding couldn't have been more perfect. You could not ask for a better location for a group meeting for 25 people. There is plenty of room and great facilities. The patio and bbq area are really tops. On site staff makes things pretty foolproof. I would ask that the horseshoe are get a little care and attention, but other than that it was fantastic. Thanks Huntley Lodge!

We were very happy to have found this lodge with 8 cabins (4 buildings with a walk way between them) Each of our children had their own cabin with a bathroom and shower. It fit our group perfectly. The care taker of the property was very helpful and continued to check in with us morning and night. If we had anything we needed him for, he was there. This is in a beautiful location and we would certainly use this site again. Thank you, Huntley Lodge!

In general our stay at the Huntley Lodge was amazing! I really dont have much I could ask for to be better! Maybe if the pool was ready to use more that would have been nice. Also, a few more garbage cans for trash after the stay would help. But really, it was a great get away for our office and everyone was very impressed. Thank you for a great time!
